VISITING
Tove Jansson (1914-2001) at the Dulwich Picture Gallery
Known internationally as the creator of the Moomin characters and books, this exhibition reintroduces Finnish artist Tove Jansson, and provides an insight into her prolific career. On show are 150 of Jansson's works including a selection of self-portraits, paintings and graphic illustrations never seen before in the UK.

EATING
Little Bird
I am a big fan of this cocktail bar and restaurant at 1 Battersea Rise - the cocktails are excellent (try the Lychee Blush Martini if you like something sweet yet tangy), and they do half price cocktails before 7pm Monday to Friday, so it is an excellent place for after work drinks. The food is really good, it's 'Asian inspired' and the sharing plates are a decent size. I also love the decor - palm tree wall paper and fun tropical cushions, but not too garish. Definitely give it a try.
INDULGING
Humble Grape
This little wine bar on Battersea Rise (opposite Little Bird, ok I have been exploring my new locals), is super cosy and just has a great atmosphere. We had a 'Flight' of wines - four small glasses, two reds and two whites. The staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, with lots of good tips. It was a superb way to spend a Friday evening rather than just sharing a bottle with friends, we tasted lots and learnt lots. I really liked the Quinta Edmun do Val Reserva, 2011, Minho, Portugal - a 'winter white wine' fit for people who say they 'only drink red wine'. You can also just go along for a couple of drinks and they do food too, but make sure you book.

Christopher Raeburn
This British designer has a unique and innovative approach to clothes designs. Famous for his re-appropriation of military fabrics and particularly for his outerwear which have been created from de-commissioned parachutes, his pieces certainly are worth the investment. Stylish, practical, unique & environmentally friendly what more could you ask for?

Because it's Agatha and Poirot combined with Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Olivia Colman, Penelope Cruz and so many more. I can't wait to see this rendition of one of Agatha Christie's best known murder mysteries on the big screen - it's all about seeing it in the cinema.

LISTENING TO
London Choral Sinfonia
A professional chamber-sized choir and instrumental ensemble, led by leading choral conductor Michael Waldron, the London Choral Sinfonia has a varied repertoire encompassing well-known major works and new compositions. They are a joy to listen to (I don't have a long attention span), and I thoroughly enjoyed their most recent concert Baroque Masterpieces. Book early to enjoy their Christmas Festival including familiar carols and Christmas tunes in new and exciting arrangements.
